1. I cant believe you let her fester in those nappies, sure her arse will be soaked and rancid :x
(that was from my brother who has a daughter 4 weeks younger than Evie and whose disposible nappies were left on so long they hung out the side of poppered vests)

2. Sure disposables arent that expensive :-?

3. They are as bad if not worse for the environment, I read that in Mother and Baby magazine :x
(that was from my *awfully clever* SIL who would use them if friends at work used them :-? )

But the best thing -
A friend of SIL who saw them and said she thought they were gorgeous and look how soft a cosy they would be on a babies bum compared to scratchy disposables, SIL didnt reply to that but sat with a :| face - that pleased me, and yes I am very easily pleased :giggle:

My now ex OH said "but if we have kids, we're using REAL nappies"..... *Blank look* Erm... then what are cloth ones? Pre-historic nappies?

I normally just get the usual of "But why?" Erm, because she's my child and i'd rather have her in lovely cloth than paper and plastic. Why dont you were paper and plastic knickers for a day instead.... :giggle:
