An article about cloth nappies has attracted lots of comments about women not having time to iron reusable nappies etc. etc. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... thers.html

I've added my two-pennorth...

i cant even get started becuase their coments are so stupid and narrow minded that i will only end up making myself look really stupid  Why do people assume that if you use cloth nappies then you must give up your career, caring for you child and having any sort of life to do so?? Its like a normal load of washing which every mother (working or not) has to do...i dont get why people are so misguided about these things...

ETA...the one that posted 'P.S. I am a proud user of disposables. I do have a life (and a job) after all.' That just says it all really doesnt it...that blantly implies that all us cloth mummies are none working, sad people with no lives

I would add a comment on the website, but I have a load of nappies waiting to be ironed.

at least the actual article was well written. But I do hate those who just say "too much hard work for me" they have no idea

Nappies and politicians should be changed frequently. For the same reasons

Ridiculous, misguided comments. Those people probably have never seen a cloth nappy, let alone know how one works or how esay they are to use. And saying using them creates more washing is a fallacy. When Bella was tiny and in sposies, I had far more washing to do due to loads of poo leaks. And don't get me started on the number of times I had to cut clothes off her due to really bad poo leaks :puke: Cloth is soooo much easier.....
