Soy and bamboo

Annoying newbie with yet another question- sorry!
I have been looking at the upsy daisy side snap minkee pockets- what I want to know is what the difference is between soy and bamboo? I know bamboo is really absorbant but haven't heard anything about soy so far.
Has anyone tried it or know what it is about?

Ive had both. Bamboo are much much more absorbent. Soy really isnt, and unless you have a light wetter shouldnt really be considered tbh

Ha! That explains alot - not been getting on with my UD side snap - lush but not great fit for us or absorbency.

Fab cheers- that is a help. I had thought that the soy wouldn't be as absorbant as bamboo so if I go for this nappy then bamboo inserts it is! Thanks fluffy!

Really like UD nappies much prefer bamboo its thicker but more absorbent

I loved the fit of the UD nappies but we bought soy and it was no where near the absorbancy we needed...i would imagine that the bamboo is MUCH better

A soy UD night nappy was soaked in a couple of hours where as the bamboo WNNN is still dry to the touch outside after 12-13 hours!

Now I'm worried about trying a soy velour HO.
