Today is the first day!!

Well after buying preloved over the last couple of weeks, and waiting for antibiotic effects to go (explosive nappies) I have started using cloth this morning

Now I have no idea how to post pics on here otherwise I would as I reached for the cam straight away as i love them!!! So far the one size seem to be a little bit big on the legs but perfect in body so we will see if have any leaks.

Just had a poo nappy and I had told hubby that i will rinse off in shower (after reading on here) and the next minute he is washing it all in the shower So now I have a very wet nappy.......

I have a horrible feeling I might have put a couple on the wrong wayround

ETA...its very much trial and error to begin with, you will get tha hang of it all and wont be able to remember life before cloth!!

But if you lay the nappy flat, look at the snaps...it should be obvious from the way the snaps are?

No not thick at all...lay the nappy flat infromt of you with the inside looking at you...then if you try and do the snaps up the half with the snaps showing is the front ? If that makes any sense?

Also im not sure what brand you have but does the insert bit snap in? becuase they normally snap into the back half of the nappy?

yay how exciting - i still remember my first cloth nappy (well evie's LOL)

it was an itti and as i didn't know how to put it on it was too loose and the bf poop went all over the midwife PMSL
