Eek - Mildew stains??

I've heard paracetemol syrup can cause stains, has your lo had food?

I leave my nappies a few days with no problems.

WSS, Children's medcines can cause purple/blue/black stains on nappies. No idea why but it does happen.

I was going to suggest calpol/food too. Beetroot, blueberries, other similar foods can leave marks. Some nappy creamscan leave shadow type marks too. Sunlight should help!

Thank you so much ladies! At last the mystery solved.... its happening more from the night time nappies and of late, due to really bad teething experiences, we've been giving him calpol at night.

Does anything get it out or is sunlight the best option?

if you can hang outside in daylight - might take a couple of days this time of year probably the best.

I used to get this on our ittis, it wasn't always medicine sometimes it was food. It does fade and sun out with washing, but obviously it comes and goes alot.
I wondered if it was something about the bamboo fabric mix because we didn't seem to get the same colour staining on the hemp/ cotton nappies.
