suddenly problems with my bg flips!

i hope im on the right bit(new to this!) but my main nappy i use on my DS is bg flips as i love them, never a leak until now, the fit seems fine but leaking around legs, he is 19lb and has it on the med setting, i have always just used one insert, he isnt much of a drinker and hasnt started drinking anymore either!theyv always lasted 3-4hrs now leaking at 2hrs i really dont want to stop using them...has anyone had the same probs or no any advice?am i doing anything wrong?

Do the nappies need stripping perhaps? Sometimes the washing powder can build up, coating the fibres and reducing absorbency....

ooh, i will try this, do i just do them on a couple of rinses? my normal wash for them is 60* then extra rinse then airer dry. i will try this!!

Do a normal wash at 60 degrees then squirt some washing up liquid in the drum with nappies and rinse rinse rinse until all the bubbles have gone

is the insert really sodden, or could it be his movement that's making it shift and causing the leaks?

i will have to take note of the insert wetness as for squirting washing liquid and rinsing...do you mean pot washing liquid?? or wash powder

You don't have to use washing up liquid. Put them on a cold wash with a full scoop of bio washing powder, followed by a 60 wash with no washing powder with extra rinse & then rinse once or twice more.
