customs charges?

does anyone know the vat rate for fabric coming into this country from the US? ive been charged 17.5%, is that right? Thanks!

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/arriving/index.htm Have a look on the HMRC website, should tell you there :wink:

17.5% is the standard VAT rate charged
