SORRY IF ANY OF THIS IS TMI
Well my af finally arrived and I thought I should post about my mooncup. When I purchased my mooncup I cut some of the stem off (dont know why i did not wait)
The day af arrived I was actually quite nervous of putting the mooncup in, up to this point I had been quite confident about it. Having to use the instruction booklet, and failing numerous times to do 'fold 2' I eventually managed 'fold 1'. Once in, it was great. I could not feel it and actually forgot I had it in.
In the middle of the night I woke up and panicked as it had been in 4 hours, went to the loo and could not get it out. Absolute panic took over and after trying for ages, Oscar waking up and Dave shouting me I ended up going back to the bedroom and leaving it where it was. I spent quite a while wondering what on earth had posessed me to cut the stem without trying it first , and wondering if I would have to go to A&E in the morning to have it taken out . In the morning I decided the best thing to do would be to read the instruction booklet, which I am pleased to say explained how to push it down, and yes it worked
After a cople of days it becam really easy to use and I must say I think MOONCUPS ARE GREAT
I have used tampons all my life, and I have always been sore after the first day. I also have always had terrible stomach pains and cramps and none of this happenned this time. I can honestly say it was breeze having my af
