I want to add to the great advice you already have here. I just wanted you to know that bamboo is both more absorbent than cotton and naturally anti-bacterial. It also comes in fleece as well as velour, and stays soft without tumble drying.
I have a lot of women report to me how some of their unpleasant period time symptoms have simply vanished since using cloth san pro - especially the thrush-like symptoms. I think it's so worth a try.
My advice would be to steer clear of un natural fibres, as they can make you hotter and a better breeding ground for candida.
Feel free to contact me through the Honour Your Flow website or through here if I can help any more

I like BV and minkee. I just put mine in any wash as i don't do nappy washes these days. I rinse out straight after use and then store till the next wash!

I think bamboo velour topped are the best. I just get fleece or wool backed as they are breathable and better for your skin imo.

luxury moon is a good starting point as they have a big selection.
