Those with a Mirena...

I had my 3rd mirena fitted back in feb 2009 a few months after having Evie. Since then my periods had all but vanished, as they had with previous IUS's, until last week when AF appeared, heavier than I have had in a long time

but yay for CSP. Anyhoo...exactly a week later AF has returned again :shock:

what's going on?????? Anyone else experienced this???? Am very confused, seems wierd as it has had more than enough time to settle etc. Just wondered why it may be happening now?

Af never dissapeared with my mirena coil...I was gutted lol!

I know it can take absolutely ages for things to settle down, it took about 2-3 years for a cycle to establish with me.

If you're concerned then speak to your GP about it :hug:

Af stopped totally for me as well but over the past 3 months I have been getting some very light bleeding, i put it down to my recent weight gain and my body being in a happier place. I am getting mine taken out next month!
