Started my stash

Postby red_dwarf » Sun Jan 16, 2011 4:29 pm

Well ive finally started my stash at last :wine:
Have bought 2 sew your own CSP kits from ems at puddlekins and now cannot wait for them to arrive so i can get some PP pads made up.
How many PP pads do you think I will need. once home I can wash every day if I really need to as have a fabby tumbledryer. Also do you think that night pads would work for the PP period after the first few days and then will still get some good use out of them afterwards when AF comes back.
Planning on getting a few packs of CSP scraps from ems at some point once ive got to grips with making them to make some normal pads and some pantyliners as well because ideally I would like a mooncup eventually so dont want a humoungous stash of CSP liek a lot of you ladies have :giggle:

Yay to starting your stash. :wine: I would love to make some of the make your own ones but don't own a sewing machine and wouldn't know how to operate one if i did!! Think the kits Ems is doing are a fab idea. I love puddlekins pads.

I never used PP csp as i didn't know about them then but i should think some of the heavier pads will also be fine for a couple of weeks after birth when the PP bleeding calms down abit. With regards how many PP pads you need i can't really help on that hun as no experience but many on here have used pp pads so will be better suited to answer that one.

Yay to stash building!! :wine:

I have well errm 'a lot' of pads but my pp stash consists of 11 dedicated pp pads (jimmy riddles, titches stitches, hollow oak, Florence). Then I will be using a selection of my day to day pads (all heavy/night pads) which are a range of Jr, Ho, loads of homestead emporium, titches stitches etc) I will be in hosp 3 days and am taking 11 pp pads and 15 heavy pads...I don't want to have to send hubby hone with pads to wash as he will have enough on his plate!! If I need more then he can always bring them in :)
