:giggle: Shaunie
You will be fine honest but you do need to try and relax as much as possible, yes yes easier said that done when some one is rummaging about your tootlings :giggle: . Def tale paracetamol or something before had, most places actually advise you do do this and take a pad for any bleeding.

I had one fitted before ds as an emergancy contreception  And it hurt like a b**tch but I was told thats because it was the first thing to ever go past my cervix. They told me that it doesnt hurt anywhere near as much after childbirth and ive got my apt on the 28th to get another 3 year copper one fitted so it wasnt bad enough that I wont do it again IYKWIM

Jake is so young, quick go nowwwwwwwwwww :hohoho:

The only thing I will say on this note is that I tried from when DS2 was 6 weeks old every couple of months to get the coil in until he was 12months. Things hadn't settled down from birth and even the docs internal was too painful for me to bare before she even got the coil out of the packet. I may just be a rare case though. By the time DS2 was 12m it went in no problem and virtually pain free (except the period pains after  )

I had mine fitted when Rufus was about 6-7 months when my AF came back, it was fine, teeny bit uncomfortable but no more than a smear

oh hun! How bloody annoying!

I was exactly the same as you.... so bloody nervous DH had to actually push me into the docs room and close the door behind him!!!
Without going into too many yucky details, i was majorly put off coz of awful internal at start of labour, but can honestly say i didn't feel it, and 5 months on have had no problems.

Like others have said, take tablets before and if you can, plan to have an easy/slob day incase you have cramping.

Thinking of you!
