I can deal with a 3 hour window, even a 1 hour window is fine :) How far are you now hun?

I have had the micronor until now. It is great if you are very ponctual when taking it, as if you miss the 3 hours gap to take it, you are not protected for a 7days.
I didn't notice any side effect, and been taking it just after the birth of my second ( used it also between the 2 pregnancy).
Recently I have been forgetting it quite a lot, despite having an alarm on my phone to remind me, so just for that, it is not for me anymore.

I had the mirena both times I was breastfeeding. I loved how it almost made af non-existant and can stay in for 5 years. Will definitely be getting another after this baby :wink:

I had it fitted when Lottie was 6 months, and am still breastfeeding now. The main benefit to having it fitted before you start your periods again and when you're still breastfeeding is that you have a couple of days light spotting at the beginning and for me that was it!!

For me it was less painful then a smear, just a bit uncomfy. I took some ibruprofen an hour before my appointment. I'd definitely recommend it :D
