Hey all,

Has anyone made their own prefolds? And if so, which pattern did you use? :D

Never made my own, mainly because Ive not used many of them.
But do you need a pattern? Could you not use one of your existing prefolds as a guide for size and then pad the middle section more. I prefer trifold prefolds like oww & flip

Well that's the basic idea of one of the patterns I've found on the net:

I just wondered if they we worth doing really, or whether to just buy them. :D

Looks a simple pattern to follow.
Prefolds are cheap - so money wise it might be better to buy them, but sometimes is isn't always about money.

If you've enjoyed making them and even used some fancy fabric - then that is worth more than the cost of doing it!
You could make some really snazzy prefolds with bright colours/knit prints on the outer!
They'd be more individual and fun that way!

Or buy some and jazz them up yourself by adding a strip of knit print, like these

I've been doing something similar to this. So much nicer than boring ugly white prefolds :-)
