Here's the 3rd current project I mentioned I was working on. It's called Swan Fidelity. I'm enjoying doing it but stitching on black aida can be :x as the holes are a bugger to see.

Oh wow, they are all beautiful. It is something I have always fancied having a go at but never got round too & not really had the confidence to try. God knows how I would fit it in amongst all the other hobbies but I really fancy it, especially knowing there are people on here to help out. Off to have a browse of some of the sites now....

So many beautiful projects. I'm another one who hasn't had time to x-stitch for ages. Now that ds finally (fingers crossed!) is sleeping through the night I may have time to do some. I have a horrible feeling I started a big project before dd was born and haven't touched it since  Must go and dig it out.

Thank you for the inspiration

@Emma1977 I sew with a white sheet or piece of paper on my lap when using black aida and use a good light, it makes it easier to see the holes.

I have a nice big, bright lamp that I sit under and that helps :D

Just about to start this and if it comes out ok I'm hoping to give it to my Mum as part of her Christmas pressie.
