Help- nappy making

For those who have made nappies- What fabrics do you use to make yours? I was thinking of terry towelling for the inserts and minky/ cotton Jersey for the rest would that work. Any help greatly appreciated. (I intend to use the fish sticks green beginnings pattern).

I used bv for the inner, bamboo fleece for inside & then whatever I wanted (bv, cotton, minkee etc). I would have thought towelling for inside would be fine though & inner!

I've not made myself but have sent fabric to WAHM's to make for me and I usually have VB for the inner, bamboo fleece for the core/inserts, and either minkee, cotton knot or bv for the outer. HTH x
