I have never made anything like this before but looking though your posts I'm very jealous of your talents!! I'd love to make a nappy of my own but dont know where to start, i wondered what do you use to make yours, ie how many layers and what materials, and can you recommend any places to buy materials and fabrics? I'd probably just make fitted and use a cover I reckon x

I use the Darling Diapers pattern, there's loads of options in one pattern and you can make, pockets, AI2's, Fitteds and wraps all from one pattern. They can all be done front or side fastening as well.

For a fitted, I like bamboo velour outer and inner with snap in bamboo fleece inserts topped with bamboo velour. It makes a very slim nappy but nice and absorbant.
