Hems that don't flip over?

What am I doing wrong? All my hems seems to flip over after time so the hemmed bit is on the outside. doesn't matter what fabirc or what I do they are all the same :x

i always do mine a bit longer and interface it as well

Do you sew them once or twice folded over? I usually overlock mine and then handstitch. I would tend to do a deep hem, min 1.5cm and usually more. I just measured the hem on the dress I'm wearing and it's 3.25cm (handmade dress altho I didn't make it, bought it from a vintage site)
