How cool! I (dumbly :oops: ) didn't realise you could spin on something like that I thought you needed one of those huge things with a wheel! I want to try now! Have you finished the 'ball' Jen @docmaggoo what is it looking like now?

You don't need a big wheel to spin with. This is a small drop spindle.
It takes longer on a drop spindle and it's harder to get the same thickness - but it's a better way to get started and it's portable!

There are a few different ways of spinning - how about I do a "my spinning journey" thread so everyone can see how I'm learning?

It's my birthday coming up and dh has arranged for me to go on a spinning course - so I can learn more and have a go at using a wheel!
