Postby docmaggoo » Sat Oct 12, 2013 6:13 pm

So after a workshop to learn how to doing with a spinning wheel... Here are my first ever skeins of handspun
(Two are plyed and the smallest is just spun)

Definitely the fluffy therapy I needed right now.

That really is very beautiful. How long did it take you?

Can't wait to see what you do with it.

I've got all the stuff to dye yarn with and some natural yarn to dye... Just need to find the time to start playing!
But I've definitely caught the bug for spinning... I want a wheel!!!

@lynniferT
The lady who taught me said to keep my first skein so I have something to compare to as I spin more.

So I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.

I'm tempted to knit it and just keep the photos for comparison.
