Help adding ruffles

Postby CM2013 » Fri Dec 06, 2013 1:59 pm

Hope I'm posting this in the right place!

I want to try add some ruffles to some cheap pocket nappies I have. I have pul and minkee nappies. I'm thinking it would be best to make the ruffles so they popper on and off? Would this minimise damage to the pul compared with stitching ruffles straight onto the nappy? I've never attempted anything like this before so any hints and tips would be much appreciated!

@CM2013 I think stitching would cause leaks to be honest, you would probably be able to get away with a couple of poppers though. I'd do one and test first!

I would say the same as Tory. I would reckon a couple of poppers would be ok but I wouldn't risk the stitching.
