Any ideas for the back of embroidery?

We ve got several embroidered polo shirts for the girls school uniform and the back of them have become scratchy due to the white protection thing ( very descriptive! :giggle: ) falling off.
Is that something I can buy to iron back on? Does it have a proper name? Or any other ideas?

Unless my Dd wears a vest underneath it irritates her :( the weather is getting warmer so vests won t be any good soon.

Thanks!

This ^^ How about using bondaweb with interface? The interface will soften with washing or...use bondaweb with thin fabric such as white chiffon/voile-something similar to what they use on the backs anyway? X
