Blanket - finished!

Further opinion needed... do you think I should add a border? I was originally going to, but now not sure as the blanket is all horizontal.

I usually like borders on crochet blankets but I think I like yours without - the variation of stitch type makes it unnecessary I think.

It's fine without a border, unless you were to do one in a single solid colour all the way round.

Sorry I just realised that I hadnt' answered the border question I love it without but I think it could look really stunning with one too! Would it be worth starting it adn having a look how it works and frogging if you dont' like it?

I think you're talking a lot of sense there as I keep changing my mind I may give that a go tomorrow in better light!

Did you end up trying out the border?

Sorry lots of questions but I'm mentally planning baby's one, I think I'll do this sort for him. How did you choose your colours and how do you decide to make it random but still look nice? I'm stressed that I'll get myself in a pickle every time I need to choose the next colour! @autumnalgirl
