My dye arrived a few days ago i've just had a look at it. I'm so confused!
I think i may start with a bib so i don't mess up one of my nappies......lol

I think i should have gone for dyeing wool with koolaid looks easier...... :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho:

Its the mixing of the powders thats confusing me i will have to sit and have a read once kids have gone to bed.

soak fabric in water and soda ash, for half an hr at least, the mix dye with water, it's that easy!

Hanna, don't you mix the soda ash with the dyes, then add it to damp fabric? Might explain why your dyeing is much better then mine!

Don't have a clue what the urea is for! And you don't need salt for LWI!
