DIY dying Thanx to Hanna. Pg 3

My dye arrived a few days ago i've just had a look at it. I'm so confused!
I think i may start with a bib so i don't mess up one of my nappies......lol

I think i should have gone for dyeing wool with koolaid looks easier......

try a vest first!

Its the mixing of the powders thats confusing me i will have to sit and have a read once kids have gone to bed.

Hanna, don't you mix the soda ash with the dyes, then add it to damp fabric? Might explain why your dyeing is much better then mine!

What about the urea and the salt????

Yuo can do it either way, I just find it easier that way!

Don't have a clue what the urea is for! And you don't need salt for LWI!

Right I have a bib soaking in the fixer.
Can i put a few things in here at the same time?
