thanks all will put pics on regularly! have done anout a 5x10 square at the min in white. just looking for more wool as well ( as cheap as poss!) will try and do the blanket out of 10x 10 or 20x20 squares i think

if it's just a blanket, you can make it out of ANY wool. Cotton, Acrylic, anything that's cheap in your local wool shop (There's thread about 10% at an online wool shop in the money matters bit. I just put an order in!)

Nothing stopping you from using pure wool, obviously, but it's cheaper to use any old wool
Your local shop might have a seconds bin too. Ours does. Lots of unknown balls of wools etc lol.

Haha. Maybe you should try and do one a month or something. Nothing ambitious bit at least you'd feel it was progressing. Or you could give up Lile i do with all blankets haha.
