where to get material?

where is the best place to buy material from?
just got my first sewing machine and im itching to make something,
looking for kids stuff & good patterned stuff, just got back from local sewing shop and its crap!

it's where I've bought all my rovings to practice spinning on, I'm not spending money on good stuff when I might ruin it happy shopping, make sure you show off what you find

I love http://www.cottonpatch.co.uk, it has lots of really pretty fabrics

and http://www.chawlas.com/ which doesn't have the best selection of pretty cotton fabrics, but they do have some and they're cheap and cheerful too, I've used them alot and its always been quick service
