Where to buy felt?

I'm trying to think of things to make for Rhys for xmas and was wondering where's the best/cheapest place to buy felt?

Also, is all felt created equal? I checked ebay but don't really know what I'm looking at.

I got some felt sheets off ebay that were quite cheap, and did the job! Not sure what its made of though but I doubt its 100% wool... Myriad has lovely felt sheets that are thicker and 100% wool, but they are much more expensive.

Sorry that's not much help is it hopefully someone else can tell you!

Do you think the ebay stuff would be ok for putting on t-shirts and also for toys? Does it leak colour, if I were to put it on a white t-shirt?

Also bought larger pieces from here http://www.sewandso.co.uk/ran2067-0.html both say that their felt meets toys standards etc. Both delivered quickly despite the strikes. Don't know about leaking colour, you could maybe contact the girl from paper and string and see what she says. HTH Nikki
