Ems' Sewing machine finds on ebay! p.1 updated: 23/8/2011

Postby ems » Sat Feb 20, 2010 12:02 am

Right are lots of ppl are buying/thinking of buying machines recently I thought I would keep a running thread where I scour ebay and find some machines worth buying ;)

All the machines below would suit a beginner or someone more proffesional and would be good enough to sew anything from plain fine cottons to bags and belts, and the machines are anything from 99p to several hundered. Remember if someone doesnt offer postage you can always ask if they dont mind you sorting out your own courier, or tell them how it easy it is for them to choose parcel force through paypal.. which is only £11 for items on ebay under 18kg.

Here goes!!!

Try not to get too tempted with anything new thats tooooo cheap as it will only fustrate when things to wrong. Older machines are better for the price than a new cheap model ...

I have an old machine in the closet, it's a non electric one.
It's a Singer 185K, still in his original case and still working.
Would like to sell it but have no idea what it's worth.
Can you tell me more Ems?
