Any chance recommending for a half decent overlocker for a learner sewer?

k the 744 is a discontinued model.. they both run at 1300 stitches a minute.. so they are nice and sprinty, the 9200 to my knowledge does not have a free arm though, the 744 definitely does though. So even though the 9200 is a newer model, I'd out of those two go for the 744 because of that. Price wise though, I wouldn't pay more than 50-60 quid each for them as they are both a few yrs old model wise. I personally don't believe that it has only been used for an hour, the thread has run out on one of the loopers so she's stuck another cob on. Even on a tester cob.. you get around 2000 metres plus. I wouldn't hit the buy it now on that one either.. way too much. I presume her price is set a little too high .. personally.

The 9200 is only 199 new the 744 was another hundred above that new. On the lower end range of machines, second hand, I'd expect to lose around 50% taking it out of the shop. Id expect to pick on up for 30-50% of what the market price was when bought originally.
