My sewing machine is on its last legs! I've only had it 20 years (on my 10th birthday and now I'm 30!!). I need to get another one but not too expensive. Hopefully not over £80. Any ideas?

I've just been looking for one and was thinking about getting this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... ACHINE.htm

I'm just looking for something that will do some wipes then hopefully progress to some stuffable fitteds (to use as night nappies) and maybe dresses one day

It has all good reviews, 19 pages and only a few had problems/wouldn't recommend it.. almost 4/5 star rating overall but I know NOTHING about sewing machines, does it look any good?

Any help/info appreciated!

Hello,

I'm feeling all inspired after seeing all the lovely items that people have made and I think I'd like to invest in a sewing machine. Can anyone recommend a good basic one? I don't want to spend more than £60 really. Thanks

Hi Em,

My Lidl sewing machine is stuck in reverse & called the sewing centre & it will cost more to fix & service it than it cost. Was thinking of just getting a better machine 2nd hand. Anything look good on ebay?
