How can you tell what kind of fleece is OK for nappies??

Postby rachelinscotland » Wed Mar 05, 2008 10:28 pm

Just wondering how you can tell which kind of fleece is what? What is suitable for nappies (ie wraps, pockets) and what kind is OK for liners? Or maybe all fleece works for liners?

I got several pieces of fleece fabric from someone last week and I don't know what they are precisely, so I'm puzzled as to what kind I need for nappy items! Just hoping all of you pros can shed some light on this for me! :) Please! They are *not* all the same, that's for sure! Some are thinner, some thicker, some softer etc! Though all are pretty sturdy.

Thanks in advance! x

As far as I know all fleece will work as liners (just make sure you put it fluffy side up!), microfleece is more often used as inners on pockets as it's thinner so not as bulky, and thicker fleece usually used as the fleece wraps or outers of pockets nappies (minki nappies for example)
