Need help from those of you who are good with fabrics!

Postby e586 » Sat May 14, 2011 4:15 pm

I'm slowly catching the sewing bug :giggle: and want to make one of these:
http://thehappyzombie.com/blog/?p=368

Been having a nosey on here:
http://www.fabricrehab.co.uk/
for fabrics and there's lots I like, but struggling to work out what 3 will look good together! I'm rubbish at that kind of thing.... so could you help me with some ideas for combinations? :)

or any other place that might have some good choices! I could spend ages just looking and need to actually choose, but some inspiration would be fab - what would you make it from if you had the choice?

thank you!!!

Fabric designers will tend to have ranges of prints that have a few fabrics that are meant to work together. Heather Bailey, Anna Maria Horner, etc. I love gonetoearth as well for wovens. I like their fabric packs and bundles too. Now you're making me go look at wovens and I already have lots to use up. :giggle:

:giggle: Gone to Earth is a fab site too :) Actually, I could probably list about 15 but I won't confuse you more...
