New dress for Lucie

I made this dress from an old duvet cover that was ripped at the top, I still have enough fabric to make another two dresses from which is just as well as this one came out a tiny bit small.



I used snaps for the shoulders so it is easy to get on and off, I can't decide whether to make the ties longer next time so they make a bow or shorter so they don't droop as much.

Ah, looks fab. Yay for up-cycling too. Amazing what can be made out of an old duvet cover!
