Well after becomming obsessed with this forum I decided to spend some of my hard earned maternity pay on a sewing machine, the first one I have ever used in my life (bar a two week trial on my mums!) and have since then become like a woman possessed
So far i've made a dress for DD2, shoes for DD3, trousers for DD's 2 & 3, 2 pairs shoes and 2 taggy blankets for a friends new baby and several more babygro bunnies for people! I have fabric ready and waiting for a dress for DD3, some cushions for DD1 (she doesn't "do" handmade clothes!!), a wall hanging for DD1, some wipes, and some taggy's for DD3!! On order I have some lovely cord fabric for coats for the younger 2, and am going to order some PUL for a wetbag and maybe a go at a nappy.............
....... and I've only had it a week
here's photo's of abbie in her new dress and abbie and olivia in their trousers, which incidentally were tea towels being sold off at 10p each in wilkos
