Ph increaser instead of soda ash?

Postby Tara84 » Sat Jun 18, 2011 10:44 am

Can I just double check that it is the Ph increaser sold for use in pools and spas that can be used instead of soda ash with procion dyes?
I have some soda ash that came with the dye kit but also have a big tub of ph increaser for the kids pool so wanted to check I can use if I run out of soda ash. The brand I've got is planet pool if that makes any difference.

The only ingredient listed is sodium carbonate so I think it's the right stuff, we'll soon see fabric is in soaking now, thank you :wine:
