Upsizing a size or 2 or 3 is quite easy actually. From what I have heard the pattern comes out large, and there seems to be an even addition of (1cm say) between the sizes. Just draw up the different lines until you get to the size you need.
The other thing is that t-shirts for example just tend to get longer and only a little wider, so a 5T might be wide enough, but just may need a few inches on the length. For the jamie jumper you probably just need extra length in the body and in the legs.
