Best place for ribbing (the 2x 2 cotton lycra stuff) and quality plain interlock is Vend

Which ones do you suggest? There are four different types and I'm rather lost

I'm so glad you asked this question as I get very confused too - I bought a sundress pattern but haven't made one yet as I had no idea what to buy for the neck and armholes :giggle:

Don't get the acrylic, that stuff is really thick and isn't nice to work with. YOu need a cotton lycra mix.

Get a sample sent out from the fabric warehouse - there is a real difference between the stretch between the white (which is good) and the brown (which is OK but not as good as the white). They tend to carry more colours than they actually list on ebay and you can order via phone.

Just to let people know that I am going to close a knit fabric co-op for the LusciousLittleCoops group on sunday.

Nur has reprinted some of the multicoloured owls and the vintage cars just in case anyone is interested.

This ebay seller has a few colours of jersey, very cheap, plain but good for practising sewing or if you don't mind the limited colours for making some things :)
