Removing resin/plastic snaps

How do i remove the plastic snaps? I broke one whilst fixing it to a nappy and now i'm not sure how to get it off

If you put the snap sideways on in the pliers so that the metal stick thing pushes in between the 2 halves of the snap and squeeze it should come apart, you do sometimes have to squeeze quite hard and you'll probably have to take the rubber bit of the pliers

I use a soldering iron and melt the middle pin bit. :giggle:

i do this. but i've never once done it without ending up with a small hole in the fabric just next to the snap.

I needed to remove one the other day and I bit down on it sideways on and t came off :oops: :giggle:

I use a small drill (a grinding type one rather than a proper drill drill) to drill out the middle, you need to be VERY VERY careful though...
