The first quilt I made recently was a VHC one. Will be back with a pic in a mo :wine:

Have you tried posting this question in the DIY section? you might get more responses

The most important things I found were cutting accurately with a rotary cutter and mat, using 1/4 inch foot for my seams and then a walking foot for quilting. I also used a freemotion foot and stippled some of my quilt because I love that crinkly quilty look.

I just watch You Tube tutorials for each step as I went along. Some of the best ones I found were from the Missourri Star Quilt company.

I haven't tried yet, it's on my list of projects to try, but I have found some good online tutorials. You basically need to make up the front by sewing pieces together so you end up with a rectangle the right size, then you get some quilting and some backing fabric and layer it all together, then sew through all the layers at once, then bind off the edges.

I've never done it yet - but here are some online links that might help - if you google you get lots of hits for this sort of stuff - that's where I've been finding it!
