Postby Woozle35 » Thu Oct 06, 2011 5:28 pm

Well I was getting ready to buy a new sewing machine, but with Woozle and the car money was spent elsewhere. So I put a post on freecycle and yesterday Dh collected this for me :D :D :D :D

Well done. It looks like one that OH's mum gave me before I got the one I have now. As soon as I turned it on the motor burned up and almost set on fire :hohoho:
How is it running?

It runs great, its really smooth.

I sent the guy an email to say thanks this afternoon and he asked if I would like some sewing lessons, his girlfriend ahs just set a business up teaching people to sew at home. :giggle:

I am going to give it a good clean tonight :D

Fantastic :wine:
I did the opposite today and spent just over £500 on a sewing machine and overlocker....It was a bargain though! Special show price at the Knitting and Stitching show at Ally Pally.....

So if anyone wants a slightly used Brother sewing machine in good condition, I have one! :giggle:
