My 1st shawl :-)

What pattern did you use and how much Aran did you need? That is the exactly the kind of thing I would love to make for my nan (and myself )

@ Hannahboo It's this one http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library ... mple-shawl but I did do it a little different but only in terms of having the same number of rows for each stitch pattern. I used 100g of the blue yarn & I'm not sure about the other because that was a frogged project but would guess at least another 100g but would allow more tbh.

Also using size 10 needles helped . It is large too, the tip comes down to my bottom and the corners hang to my jean pockets at the front. I just carried on knitting until I used all my yarn - I have about 10" left now
