We're not that good. We set up a compost, but havent really got 'into' it.

Cloth nappies
Face cloths for hands and faces instead of wipes
Low thermostat
recycle
Just starting our own veg (first cucumber this week!!)
Meal plan to avoid waste)
Buying quality over quantity
No fly holidays
half flush toilet
clothes sharing - with the kids clothes, I bundle them up into 6m sizes and lend them out. I ask for them back and re lend. My boys clothes are on child 5!
we are mostly veggie
We try to buy from local or small businesses
We have a sustainable, straw playhouse

Not as much as I'd like to be at the moment I feel like I dont' have time to do anything extra!!

I use Mooncup / CSP part time (finding it really hard with work and having a loo with no basin right in the middle of the house!)
We recycle
Grow some veg (need to get better at it - I kill a lot of things :lookround:  :giggle: )
As of yesterday use homemade dishwasher powder!
We don't have a dryer (even though it kills me some days!)
I drive a small diesel car that can do 1000 kms to the tank (even more with 100% highway)
We don't heat the house as with the high ceilings it would be so wasteful / expensive / un-enviromentally friendly - just put a jumper on and use blankets when sat watching TV.
Use no spray cans other than spider / bug / cockroach killer

So clearly there are a huge number of things I can still do! We intend to have a lot more going on when we own (eg compost / solar energy etc), it is hard to get sorted in a rental but we can't afford to at the moment :(

@littlesez I've always been a sweaty Betty and the only one that works for me is Mitchum which is roll on - might be worth a try for you! I have tried all the 'natural' ones and just end up with BO and I'm not quite that crunchy  :lookround:

I've been using it since I was about 16  I can genuinely say that it has only been in the last couple of years where anything else even comes close to being as good. I can use some of the new ones now but I always have that in if I know I've got a hot / busy / scary day ahead!

Have you tried the Lush deodorant bar amereco? I sweat so much my doctor used to prescribe me some crazy deodorant that burns the pores and stops them sweating. I decided to give this lush one a go as I'd like to use more natural cosmetics and I can honestly say I'm totally converted!
