@clothmama yes it's an online shop in The Netherlands and they have extra fine soda as well ;)
And yes I know what you mean with the filmfeeling, I hate that so I'm extra curious about this homemade stuff now.

@Asta at this stage there is still some in there so I'm not sure what they would be like without it? Apparently people use white vinegar as a replacement for rinse aid.

Epsom salt can be bought at any chemist: it can be used as a laxative.
