I've been line-drying for over 3 months now but the weather has turned the past week so I have just plugged in our tumble dryer and loaded a wash into it... I hope to line dry when the weather allows it, but it does feel good to have the other option
I actually cant wait to do my nappies in there a bit, they have been coming off the line so hard recently because the air is so dry and when its hot they dry too quick for me to realise.
Have to say I love line-drying for the eco benefits and bills point of view but there are some things that I almost always tumble-dry as altho' we don't really have hard water here they still end up quite crunchy
I'm getting our tumble drier fixed this week (after a year of being broken ), the weather has been horrendous recently. Far too warm to have the heating on, so drying indoors takes aaaaaaaages, and too wet to dry outside. So I now have a huge backlog of washing (normal washing) I've just about been managing to keep up with nappies, but Rhys is having about 6 or more dispo's a week, just because I can't get everything washed and dried
I might get a dryer to go in the garage when we move, for emergencies. We get on fine most of the time without one but would be handy like towards the end of this week when I know I need things for holiday and need to get them dry quick. But will see when we have moved in how much space dh leaves me in the garage next to all his junk
