Pitrok deoderant

Postby AnnetteandBen » Fri Oct 12, 2007 6:45 pm

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this spray on deo (well pump on).

It was on C4 last night on some toxic chemical thing we add to our bodies as an alternative and the testers seemed OKish with it.

Just got me thinking about trying it out.

I use something similar - it's the japanese spa minerals one, you can get it as crystals, or a pump action spray or a spray can...
I find it doesn't stop me sweating but it does stop the smell...

Actually I find it more effective than "normal" anti-perspirants... I've tried all sorts and ended up with the Nivea extra one - but I find that it does seem to clog my pores and means I can actually end up sweating more as a result and it doesn't always stop the smell! So I do seem to sweat less with the JS one.

The Spa minerals one works on the same principal as the pitrok one (which my mum uses) which is that the minerals kill the bacteria so there's no smell...

Steph, do you get either in a shop, or just on line?

Just buy it from boots! Most boots sell them I think...

I found the stick one (crystal one I think) in Holland and Barrett yesterday so am trying that one out. Will have a look in boots and superdrug too!

I've bought the bionsen roll on instead of the pitrock, it's parabens and aluminium free and seems to be doing it's job okay! I will try pitrock to compare when this one has run out.
