I was recommended Aveeno by a health visitor yesterday to help with eczema and dry skin. She said that somebody she knew saw an immediate improvement following 1 application. So I went to Boots (it's currently on offer) and picked up some cream (you can also get a lotion and bath oil). I used it on Joseph's face where he had some very angry eczema patches and by this evening they'd almost gone, following about 3 applications.
...and that's not all....
I used it on my hands too and I was absolutely amazed having used all sorts of creams from Boots, The Bodyshop and some prescribed by the Doctor. This cream transformed my hands overnight. The best thing is that it doesn't leave a greasy feeling and you can also wash your hands and still feel the benefit.
It contains natural active ingredients and the 'support' is wheat based. Apparently many prescribed creams contain a 'support' that many people's skin react to.
...and that's not all...
You can get it on prescription too ... my Doctor prescribed some of the lotion for Joseph this afternoon.. YIPEE
So for all of you who get really dry hands with constant hand washing, it may very well be worth a try.
Thanks
Sarah
