I understand (and could be wrong, it's a fairly new term on me too) that it's not just about eco, it's just another term for hippy I guess

And as for cleaning, I use white vinegar for practically everything, it is great against limescale, kills a ton of bacteria (so I'm told), salmonella, e.coli, etc. The only think I use, not sure why, is bleach. Lemon juice and salt is supposed to be good too.
