natural cleaners

does anyone know how i can clean things! I use ecover at the mo, but would be interested to know how people get things really clean. I dont want to use bleach but is their a natural sub? Also i notice lots of recipes have vinegar in them but it stinks! ANy tips?

I use white vinager, bicarb of soda and a tiny bit of washing up liquid mixed with water in a spray bottle. I think its by far the best cleaner ive used. you could probably put some lemon juce in there to make it smell even nicer, or maybe a drop or 2 of essential oils depending on what you were using it to clean with. I LOVE the smell of the bicarb and vinager tho i think it smells so fresh and clean :D

Depends what I'm cleaning, but mostly I use white vinegar. Bicarb and vinegar work well together to unblock sinks, drains, etc. Takes quite a lot though.

A friend told me about the Method range yesterday, I'm going to try that, expect it to smell much nicer than vinegar :lol:
