HELP....................Vomit

Any one know how I can get the smell of vomit out of a carpet, Gracie was sick all over the living room one yesterday and I can't get rid of the smell!!! I cleaned it straight away, used one of the foam spray things and then vaxed it this morning and it still smells what will neutralise the smell. xxx

Have you tried making up a solution with bicarb of soda? Thats usually quite good at neutralising smells

WTS, bicarb is fab.

Defo go for the bicarb. Is it wool carpet? that can make a difference, a paste of bicarb and water put on and left for a couple of hours then rubbed and scraped off and vaccumed should do the trick though.

i use a mixture of soda crystals, white vinegar and a spray of vanish laundry bleach
