Soap making anyone?

As above really, does anyone make their own soap? I have fancied having a go for ages (im thinking ahead - great for gifts ) and have just ordered a book from amazon.

If anyone has any recommendations for websites for supplies and ideas i would really appreciate it

I've never made soap before but looked at it loads of times. I really want to learn how to make bath bombs because my 2yo loves them!

I have, but a long time ago, I'll see if I have my book around somewhere (although fairly sure it's long gone now). I gave it all as Xmas pressies one year and didn't hear anything terrible back I've not sold any though, lots of rules and regs to jump through for that.

Yep I've done that, nice to do but if you want to sell there are so many rules.
What book did you get?
